Corrupted PDF files
Some of you are having troubles when trying to open some of the smartcockpit PDF files. Generally you get error message like "file is corrupted or damaged" . This is due to the fact that your PDF reader is an older version than the PDF software used to create those files. Our recommendation is to upgrade your version of Adobe Acrobat Reader or use the alternative Foxit Reader.Sunday, 26th July 2009 [14:03]
Cessna Citation Mustang
The Citation Mustang, Model 510, is a "very light jet" (VLJ) class business jet built by Cessna Aircraft Company. The Mustang, in standard configuration, has four passenger seats in the aft cabin and seating for two in the cockpit. Dash 8-200/300
With the success of the Dash 8-100 series, a stretched version with greater capacity was a logical development. De Havilland Canada (now part of Bombardier) launched full scale development of a 50 seat stretched version of its Dash 8 regional airliner during 1986. The Dash 8-300 has been offered in a number of variants. The standard 300 was followed by 300A, B and E series including higher gross weights, interior and engine improvements.Like the Dash 8Q-200, all Dash 8-300s built since the second quarter of 1996 have been fitted with a computer controlled noise and vibration suppression system (or NVS) and so from then all models were designated Dash 8Q-300s. In 1998 the aircraft was again renamed, this time to Dash 8-Q300 when a new interior was also introduced...

Gulfstream G200
The Gulfstream G200, formerly known as the IAI Galaxy, is an Israel Aircraft Industries-manufactured twin-engine business jet, now produced for Gulfstream Aerospace.The G200 is a growth derivative of the IAI Astra (now the G100), using a scaled up Astra wing, with Kruger flaps, slats, and trailing edge flaps. It has a cruciform tail, PW306A engines, and a Collins Pro-Line 4 glass cockpit. The Gulfstream G200 is a super mid-size intercontinental business jet which offers a range of 3,346 nautical miles with NBAA IFR reserves (8 passengers). Maximum payload is 4,800lbs. In a corporate shuttle configuration, the G200 can carry enough fuel to fly 2,710nm with NBAA IFR reserves.

Cessna Citation XLS Off The Press
The Citation XLS was the first "makeover" that the Citation Excel received. Besides a glass cockpit based on the Honeywell Primus 1000 EFIS avionics suite, the XLS featured the upgraded PW545B engines with increased performance. Cessna upgraded the aircraft again to the Citation XLS+, or simply "Plus" configuration, with the inclusion of FADEC engine controls and improved PW545C engines. A great aircraft for great pilots. Fokker 50 Now Available
The Fokker 50 was the successor to Fokker's highly successful and long running F-27 Friendship. Based on the fuselage of the F-27-500 Friendship, it incorporates a number of key design changes. Foremost of the improvements was the new generation Pratt & Whitney Canada PW125 turboprops driving advanced six blade props, giving a 12% higher cruising speed and greater fuel economy, and thus range. Other improvements include new avionics and an EFIS glass cockpit, limited use of composites, small `Foklet' winglets, and more, squared, main cabin windows.Monday, 30th March 2009 [23:10]
MD-11 Systems Description Available
The MD-11 is a modernised, slightly stretched and re-engined development of the DC-10 trijet, carrying about 50 more passengers. Finnair received the first aircraft in 1990. The MD-11 was produced in Long Beach, California and after the Mcdonnell Douglas / Boeing merge, Boeing finally ended production of the MD-11 after 200 planes were built. Boeing 727 Systems
The first Boeing 727 flew in 1963 and for over a decade it was the most produced commercial jet airliner in the world. A total of 1,831 727s were delivered. The B727's sales record for the most jet airliners ever sold was broken in the early 1990s by its younger stablemate, the Boeing 737. In August 2008, there were a total of 81 Boeing 727-100 aircraft and 419 Boeing 727-200 aircraft in airline service. Bombardier Q400
The Bombardier Dash 8 is a series of twin-engined, medium range, turboprop airliners. Since 1996, the aircraft have been known as the Q Series, for "quiet". In April 2008, Bombardier announced that the Classic versions (Series 100, 200, 300) would be out of the production line, making the Series 400 the only Dash 8 still in production.
